The best dental experience I have ever had! We moved to Buffalo about 4 years ago and I was lucky to find Altman—I have dental anxiety and always request to be numbed for cleanings so I was apprehensive about finding a new dentist. But I had nothing to worry about because the staff is so kind and pleasant and accommodating starting as soon as you walk in and are greeted by Melanie—they have created a real community feel. Lorraine is the most excellent dental hygienist and Dr. Frank Altman is the most genuinely enthusiastic dentist I have ever encountered—he loves his career and it shows. They also have early morning appointments that allow me to get in and out and to work on time which is so helpful! 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Muto was amazing. I was very nervous having my first root canal. She eased my worries, and I was so surprised how easy it was. Thank you Dr. Muto.

I recently returned to Amherst after living in Alabama for 5 years. My first stop was Altman Dental. Dr. Altman is, by far, the best dentist I have seen. He explains and "check 's in" with every procedure. He is experienced. I have been with him since 2005 and will never leave. His staff is exemplary. They go above and beyond to assist wIth appointments and insurance. I always recommend Altman Dental when someone asks for a dentist.

Altman Dental is a beautiful, clean practice with an excellent staff. As soon as you walk in, the office staff greets you by name, making you feel comfortable and like family. The dental hygienists really get to know their patients and are extremely kind. Lorraine is gentle and compassionate with patients and greets them/sends them off with a smile that brightens your day.

This practice is marvelous! They make sure that you are satisfied with the result. Dr. Muto is talented and gentle as is the dental hygienist. I couldn't ask for any better service. The office staff is friendly and welcoming too.
